Biography

Oluwakemi Christiana Abikoye is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria with about 19 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. She has served as Head of Department and Deputy Director (Research) at, the Centre for Research, Development and In-house Training (CREDIT). Her area of research interest cut across Computer/communication Network (Cyber) Security, Cryptography, Biometrics, Artificial Intelligence, and Human-Computer Interactions. She has to her credit over one hundred publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. She has successfully supervised 15 Masters dissertations and 9 Ph.D. theses. She was part of the team that won the Artificial Intelligence for Females in Science Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (AI4FS) Grant sponsored by the Royal Academy of Engineering (Higher Education Partnerships in Sub-Saharan Africa (HEP SSA) 22/24). Professor Abikoye is also a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
