Ghaniyyat Bolanle BALOGUN, is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria with about 10 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experiences. She holds a PhD in the field of Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She also possesses an MSc. in Mathematics with Computer Science option and a professional qualification of Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the same university. Her first Degree is a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mathematics/Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. She has served and still serving as Staff Adviser to various students’ bodies in the University. She has also held and still holding many other administrative positions including; Student Level Adviser, Faculty Representative to the University Quiz, Debate & Innovation Committee, Faculty Representative to the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Member, Faculty of C.I.S Committee for Unilorin Educational TV Course Content among others. Her current area of research interest lies in Data Structures, Data Analytics, Big Data, Data Mining and Database Management System. She has to her credit over fifty publications in reputable outlets such as Elsevier and Springer. She has taught various courses that cut across different areas of Computer Science. She was part Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) accreditation team to Crescent University Abeokuta, Ogun State Dr. Balogun G.B., is a member of many professional bodies including; Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN), Nigeria Computer Society (MNCS), Nigeria Women in Information Technology (MNIWIIT), International Association of Engineers and Computer Scientist (MIAENG), Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (MISMN) and Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria. (MIPMA) among others.
